A California woman and her grandson are the proud new owners of a new puppy. They didn't get it from a neighbor, they didn't adopt from a shelter, nor did they buy it at a pet store. The puppy was dropped from about 30 feet by a hawk who probably thought dinner was taken care of for the day! As the woman in the story says, "When God drops a puppy from the sky, you keep it!"

This past Thursday night, Paul played a free concert in front of 200,000 of his closest friends in Mexico City. One of the highlights was when he was joined on stage for a fantastic rendition of "Ob- La-Di-Ob-La-Da." We saw Paul once in Pittsburgh, back in '91 or '92, and to this day it's the best concert I've ever attended. After watching this video, I wish we'd been in Mexico City that night!

Yesterday we attended Cinco De Mayo festivities at the Sedgwick County Zoo, and we had a great time, ate everything in sight, and had a fun time seeing all the animals. My wife's favorite? It has to be the giraffes. Here's a glamour shot from yesterday.

I'd better explain that title. Cabaret Oldtown has a new production, "Monky Business" opening tonight, and Christi Moore, director, producer, actor, and all-around fabulous babe, was my in-studio guest. We chatted about the new show, which sounds hilarious by the way; they all are great, and Christi was the quiz master (or mistress?) for True Oldies 1070 Rock 'N' Roll Trivia. Our winner this morning? Terry Tiger (why does everyone have a better radio name than me?) from Wichita was the big winner, and he'll be in audience for a performance. Way to go Terry, and thanks for classing up the joint, Christi!

It was co-written by Brian Jones and you hear the unmistakable voice of Mick Jagger. It only aired in the UK, so this may be your first chance to check it out. It's....OK...I guess...but personally I prefer "Wid Horses."
