Scott Shannon has stumbled into an amazing career. As a broadcaster, programmer and host of the True Oldies Channel, his is truly an amazing success story.
He's been everywhere, man... working in markets like Mobile, Memphis, Nashville, Atlanta, D.C., Tampa Bay, Los Angeles and New York City. Honored in Billboard Magazine numerous times, Scott has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, The Broadcast Hall of Fame in Washington, D.C., and the Radio Hall of Fame in Chicago, IL.
Scott lists his favorite artists from Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Eddie Cochran, just to name a few.
He's especially fond of Rockabilly and Soul music, and is known for his strange, eclectic tastes.

Bob's years of experience, his love of music and enthusiasm for entertaining his audience makes for great morning listening. His broadcasting stops include WOMC/Detroit, WHKO/Dayton, WBBG/Youngstown, and WYAV in his hometown of Myrtle Beach. He’s happy he longer has to pronounce the letter “W.”
His wide range of on air interviews includes David Bowie, Strom Thurmond, Mo Rocca, Jackie Collins and more, although not all at the same time.
He’s Wichita’s biggest Beatles fan!
He has been married to his child-bride, Patricia , for nearly 20 years. One of these days she’ll come to her senses and realize what she’s done.
